Agra Engineering's gear-cutting department offer a fast reliable service and specialise in one-off jobs, small batches and bespoke engineering.
We can supply spur gears, helical gears, worm gears & shafts, sprockets, ring gears, internal & external splines, and bevel gears, in almost any material; bronze, cast iron, steel, plastic, tufnol etc.
The engineers can manufacture gears from drawings, and in many cases reverse engineer gears from samples. We can offer extremely quick turnaround (usually 3-5 days) on most gears Our in-house heat treatment helps speed up the manufacturing process and gives us a deep knowledge of hardness and material compatibilities.
As with all work manufactured by Agra engineering material and test certificates are available on request.
