Gear Cutting Department
The gear cutting department was established many years ago
when we bough over Gilchrist Bros.
This department specialises in one-offs and can tailor make
gears to your exact specifications. We also have the
capabilities to do small production runs and due to the
process with which the gears are made and our in-house
heat treatment plant we can
usually offer a far faster turn around than our competitors.
We have the capabilities to produce:
- Spur Gears
- Worm Gears
- Worm Shafts
- Helical Gears
- Bevel Gears
- Keyways
- Spline Cutting (Internal & External)
- Slotting
